Waterford Public Schools is seeking a qualified candidate for a long-term substitute teacher assignment at Waterford High School.
Waterford Public Schools serve approximately 2,500 students in grades PK-12. The district’s facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The Waterford community strongly supports the public schools and has high expectations for staff and students. According to the State of Connecticut Next Generation Performance Accountability System, Waterford Public Schools ranks in the top third of K-12 school districts in the state. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.
CT Teacher Certification Special Education (165) required. Experience teaching students grades 9-12 will also be beneficial in this role.
Daily rate $130-256.16 depending on certification and length of position.
