The Gate Youth Center provides after school programs for middle schoolers in the Hamilton area. Currently, our drop-in program falls each Tuesday and Thursday from 2:40-5pm, though volunteers may choose to be at either or both days depending on what their schedule allows. During this time students are able to do homework, hangout with friends and make new ones, and we wrap up with a short Biblically based lesson.
This volunteer position looks great on resume’s for students going into nursing, psychology, social work, education, and for anyone who wants to positively influence young hearts and minds!
