Ace Wedding DJs is looking for current DJs or DJ’s-to-be who are servant minded, charismatic, not shy to talk in front of groups of people, love music, and enjoy performing. We are looking to hire and begin training one or two people for the 2023 and 2024 wedding seasons, with working days mostly being spring, summer, and fall weekends (May-October).
Training is provided by the company over several practice days, observational work days, and assisted work days. Observational and assisted work days are paid training days.
This job’s duties include email/phone communication with your clients before their wedding date, but mostly day-of responsibilities, including:
-Getting to wedding venue 2-3 hours before wedding start time
-Setting up wireless microphones, sound systems, party lights
-Managing sound and audio levels for speakers during wedding ceremony and reception
-Organizing and playing music at the coordinated times
-Making announcements and MC’ing during wedding reception
-DJ’ing during open dance and keeping dance floors full
-Packing up all equipment
-Being personable and energetic with the wedding couple and guests
