Senior Space: A Retreat for Soon-To-Be Graduates with Dr. Alicia Cordoba

Are you feeling anxious about graduating? Is the stress of your senior year taking over? We invite you to join us for an afternoon of reflection and rest so that you can enjoy your final semester as an AQ student.

The afternoon is completely free and includes:
A catered, soul-food dinner
A journal, art supplies, and other gifts
Poetry, journaling, and reflection
Creating a mandala as a meditation tool

Senior Space is meant to be a time of rest, reflection and creative expression; to celebrate where you’ve been and embrace your future with confidence.

Sister Diane Zerfas O.P. will lead us in reflective exercises and to think about liminal space.

LIMINAL SPACE is the concept of movement between one stage of life to another: you aren’t in the place you’ve come from and you’ve not yet arrived at where you’re going. There is an unknown which can be daunting. Your identity as a student will be transformed, but how?

This event is “unplugged” so please stow away your devices. Just bring yourself! RSVP is required by January 20.
